MOST WANTED NC NEWS -- Jonathan Lamar Davis is most wanted for his alleged involvement an armed robbery of a Raleigh, North Carolina banking-type institution. On January 15, 2008, a state arrest warrant was issued in Wake County, North Carolina, after charging Davis with robbery of the banking-type institution. Davis was charged federally with armed bank robbery by the United States District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina, and a federal warrant was issued for his arrest on January 16, 2008.

On January 14, 2008, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Davis allegedly entered the bank with a shotgun demanding money. Davis proceeded to assault a teller by striking her upon the head with the shotgun, and then discharged the shotgun into the ceiling. Davis then is alleged to have collected the money, and fled the scene of the robbery.

Davis was described as wearing a white toboggan hat, black sunglasses, black quarter-length coat with fur around the hood, dark pants, yellow gloves, and work boots when he robbed the bank in Raleigh. Additionally, he carried a black nylon bag or case, and a shotgun during the robbery.

Davis is known to love music, using the cognomen "SINATRA," he fancies himself to be a music mogul and has a history of frequenting music establishments, recording studios, concerts, and clubs.

These acts of violence resulted in 129 injuries, 13 deaths, and 80 persons being taken hostage.
