MECKLENBURG COUNTY NC NEWS -- Investigators from the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the perpetrator who is responsible for the robbery of the Clearview Federal Credit Union located at 2830 Boyer Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.
On June 5, at approximately 9:25 a.m. by a lone gunman entered the bank armed with a handgun and demanded cash from the tellers. Upon leaving the bank, the perpetrator fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The perpetrator is described as a black male with light-brown skin tone and early 30's in age. The gunman was wearing a white plastic construction helmet, a black nylon-type mask, a blue work shirt, an orange mesh traffic vest, and blue jean pants.
