MECKLENBURG COUNTY NC NEWS -- The RBC Centura Bank, located at 3920 Colony Road, in Charlotte, North Carolina, was robbed Wednesday March 14, around 1:00 p.m. The FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department are asking the public's assistance in identifying the perpetrator who is responsible for the bank robbery.
The perpetrator is described as a white male, early to mid 20's approximately 5'10" and 140 pounds. He was wearing dark sunglasses and a dark gray sweatshirt with jeans.
According to statements, the perpetrator entered the bank and indicated he had a weapon; however, no weapon was seen. The perpetrator took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot.
